WORK IN PROGRESS-ACTIVITIES

Kebonye Jessica Mabona 1071117580

Description of link
The activities page will basically be where one goes to get a description of what they can do while at the Gunung Mulu national park. This is one of the most important links in the website hence there is a need to provide ample information and show the viewers photos of the place. I plan to ensure that there are enough pictures and information on the park to meet the demand. The activities in Gunung Mulu can be divided into two: cave activities and jungle trekking hence I created two sub links.

Objective of the link
• Provide information about the activities in Gunung Mulu national park
• Inform viewers of the park fees to the various activities

Design of GUI
The GUI design is based on the basic look of the website my team agreed on(placement of buttons, background ,as well as font color) as well as from various GUI from websites that I liked.

The reason why I chose this GUI as a sample is because I like the fact that the banner itself is a photo of what’s being promoted, I also like the fact that the photos are clear, I would like to place the photo below the banner below the text and change it to a gallery. This GUI also has two menu bar the top as the main one and the one on the side as the menu bar for the page one is on.

Flowchart of the individual site

The activities will have two links which will be of the kinds of activities to be done: exploring caves and trekking.

Use of tools in Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash
In creating this more of dreamweaver will be used to do the webpages as well as used in adding the galleries for the various links.Photoshop used to create banners for links aw well as edit images used.Flash used to create animation in the links.
